We LOVE the local library! 

The Friends Board meets on the first Monday of each month at 3pm to discuss supporting our local library and community. These meetings are open to the public. The Friends support our library with projects like:

• New book, audio, board game, Wonderbooks & DVD purchases to supplement the Library

• Book club in a bag program (10 copies of one book to be checked out for groups) & Bestseller Books program

• Brown Bag Author Events

• Summer Reading Program for children & Battle of the Books

• Used Book Sales (some Tuesdays, Big Spring & Fall sales, Teacher sale, etc.)

• Wine and Words and Words by the Water events

• Books Burgers and Brews - A monthly community Book Club

• and so much more!

 

To become a Friend Of The Brainerd Public Library, please fill out a membership sheet and email it to friendsofthebrainerdlibrary@gmail.com, mail it to the library in the care of The Friends, or fill out the information and submit it online. As a friend, you will receive access to our newsletter, the ability to volunteer at our Book sales and Events, and more!
